Professional Training and Credentialing

Debbie Garden holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Fitness Promotion from Central Michigan University, and a Master’s in Counseling from Oakland University. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, Debbie is a certified Intrinsic Coach, a certified Prepare-Enrich Marriage Facilitator, and a Budget Counselor certified by Crown Financial Ministries.

Professional Experience

Debbie specializes in working with woman of all ages and uses a holistic, person-centered approach to help set goals that focus on mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and restoration.  She also works with woman who experienced Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN) and helps them identify how that experience has impacted their health and relationships and how they can learn new life-changing self-care behaviors for moving forward.  Debbie also has extensive experience in the field of health and wellness education having worked for over 30 years teaching, training, coaching, and providing staff supervision in corporate and manufacturing environments.  She is a member of the Marriage Ministry team at her church and works with premarital couples.

Personal Information

Debbie is married with three grown children. She enjoys home renovation and decorating, reading, traveling, cooking, biking, and time spent with family and friends.
