Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Windsor and is completing his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. He is a certified SYMBIS facilitator (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts), an evidence-based couples assessment that helps lay a strong foundation for lifelong marriages. Paul also holds a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Studies from Liberty University. He is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling (ASERVIC), the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and an honorary member of Rho Eta Nu Gamma, a chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, and Omega Nu Lambda.
Paul recently retired as an account manager after 28 years of building lasting relationships at a Michigan-based manufacturing firm serving the automotive, aerospace, and defense industries. Paul has served as a Men’s Peer Counselor at Compassion Pregnancy Center for over 12 years, helping new parents and couples navigate through life’s difficulties, set goals, thrive, and achieve wellness as individuals and families. He has also facilitated church men’s groups that seek to enrich their lives through spiritual connection. He is empathetic, authentic, caring, and supportive, with a desire to listen, help people heal, recognize barriers, and thrive as individuals and in relationships with others. Paul serves as a praise and worship leader at his church in Livonia.
Paul is a native of Ontario, Canada. He became a US citizen in 2019 and is married with five adult children. In his free time, Paul enjoys leading praise and worship at his church, golfing, snowboarding, and studying. He is dedicated to living a healthy work-life balance through worshiping, being a devoted husband and father, and serving others.
